of the Willo-Esque Homeowners Association Board of Directors meeting held
Roger Sackreiter called the meeting to order at
MINUTES – The
minutes of the
OLD BUSINESS –
Roger reported that the company that was to redo the bathrooms at the pool
complex called four days before the pool was to open last May saying they were
ready to begin work. Since there was not enough time to complete the work
before the pool opening, it was agreed the work would begin right after the
pool closed for the season on Labor Day. There has been no contact with the
company since so the homeowners association will be taking them to court in
June.
FINANCIAL REPORT
– Roger reported that four area homeowners are delinquent with their dues.
Those will be sent to the HOA attorney for collection. After reviewing the
printed financial report, Mattie moved to approve it as printed. Andrea
Johanning seconded the motion and it passed without opposition.
COMMON GROUND
– Jay Miller is still working to clean up the tree damage from last January’s
ice storm. The tree hardest hit by the storm is by
MOWER STATUS -
The mowers were tuned up over the winter and are ready to go.
PLAYGROUNDS –
Roger reported there has been quite a bit of damage to the playground equipment
west of the double tennis courts over the last few months.

BUDGET – Roger
presented a proposed budget for 2005. After some review, Mattie moved to
approve it as presented. Mattie seconded the motion and it passed without
opposition.
NEW
BUSINESS – There was some discussion
about shortening the time the polls are open for the annual election of HOA
board members beginning in 2006. No action was taken but Roger said the matter
would be taken up again at the next meeting.
Roger reported the Willo-Esque annual area wide garage
sale is traditionally held on the last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday that all
three days fall in April so this year, that will be April 28-30. The Roger
moved to purchase three banners reading “Area Wide Garage Sale, Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday” to be placed on the walls at the three main entrances to
Willo-Esque for the weekend. Mattie seconded the motion and it passed without
opposition. The board reiterated that the garage sale is an unofficial function
of the Willo-Esque Homeowners Association.
ANNUAL MEETING AND
ELECTION – The next meeting will be the annual meeting on Tuesday, May 10,
2005 at the Maple Ridge apartment complex clubhouse at
