– The minutes of the
OLD BUSINESS – Roger reported that he and Bob Orth have begun construction of the covered storage space on the north side of the pool complex.
ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE – Roger reported that a letter has been drafted by the board of directors that will be sent to the Reynolds family on South Willo-Esque requesting they add skirting to the storage building they built in their yard as has been required by the Architectural Control Committee. Roger moved to send the letter. Andrea seconded the motion and it passed without opposition.
Don Doze reported that the architectural control committee has received several requests for forms from homeowners so they can request to make changes to their roofs following the hail storm that came through the area on April 24th. Don pointed out that the key words are “repair” and “change”. Repairs made to the roofs in First, Second, and Third Additions do not require architectural control committee approval while changes to the roofs do.
Don also stated that the Architectural Control Committee for Second and Third Additions has been operating one member short for some time but plans are being made to fill that vacancy in the near future.
FINANCIAL REPORT – The financial report was reviewed. Roger reported that several property owners have not paid their dues for 2006. The board is preparing foreclose on two properties in the area where the property owners are behind in their dues.
Roger moved to approve the financial report as presented. Andrea seconded the motion and it passed without opposition.
SOCIAL AND RECREATION COMMITTEE – Andrea reported that there was a good turnout for the area children’s Easter egg hunt. Roger said it was the best turnout in years. The community policing officer for Willo-Esque attended with a patrol car that the children could get into and climb on.
