To the Owners;
This is for NEW ROOFS and Contractor Signs.
It is the Homeowners responsibility to contact the Architectural Control Committee for approval but the Board is empowered to enforce the Homeowners Protective Covenants.
Pursuant to the Protective Covenants of the First, Second, and Third addition filed with the Registrar of Deeds dated Dec 1976:
Paragraph 7 states; No building shall be erected, placed or altered on any lot until the construction plans and specifications and a plan showing the location of the structure have been approved by the Architectural Control Committee as to size, quality of workmanship and materials, harmony of exterior design with existing structures, and as to location with respect to topography, finished grade elevation, and side yard requirements. No fence, mass planting, or wall shall be erected, placed, or altered on any lot unless similarity approved. All living area exterior glass shall be double-glazed or each glass shall have storm pane, etc_____________________________________.
Paragraph 13
states; No sign,
advertisement, billboards or advertising structures of any kind may be erected
or maintained on any of said lots without the written consent in writing of
Architectural Control Committee, provided however that permission is hereby
granted for the erection and maintenance of not more than one (1) advertising
board on each lot or tract as sold and conveyed, which advertising board shall
not be more than five (5) square feet in size and may be used for the sole and
exclusive purpose of advertising for sale or for lease the lot or tract upon which
it is erected.
